DMax auxiliary tank fuel pump

Connected the EAS Switch to a fuel pump I installed between my auxiliary diesel tank in the bed of my truck and the factory tank. Works fantastic!

Does It's Job Well

Bought one of these a while back to control my two LED light bars. Just added a second one to control the rock lights I'm about to hook up. They've worked well with the LED bars, easy to install, setup, customize, and control. Gotta love not having to drill or cut holes for switches in your dash! Keeps everything clean on the dash by having it internal to the CTS. Only "complaint" or trade-off would be is that I believe the ignition has to be on so that the CTS is booted up (which can seem to be a bit slow if you're waiting on it) in order to control the lights (or whatever is hooked to it), So, if you think you will need functionality in a hurry, best to plan ahead and have it ready to go, just in case. No just reaching in and simply flipping a switch... I'd also like to have maybe a third screen option for the switches on the CTS instead of just the two screens at a time. Or, have a combination of gauges and smaller switch graphics on the screen. But that has nothing to do with the EAS really, and more to do with the CTS.

Works great, easy to install. Pretty much plug and play. Just remember if power to the harness is straight to battery whatever is controlled by the switch will remain on after shutting down unit.

EAS expandable

It cost to much for what you get. They give you the wire for a starter kit even if you don't need it or want it. I think they should cut cost and offer part that you need and not charge for one you don't.

Great Features - design needs a little work

I bought this and installed it a few weeks ago. I must say the idea is great. The ability to have logical switches is awesome; not having to drill holes in my dash, etc. Great idea. However, the application of the idea (IMHO) needs a little work. First off, when I put the connector (the side that plugs in to the main harness for the CTS) through the firewall, the grommet was of course tight. It crushed the female connectors inside the plug. I had to use my "dental" picks to open them up again, and it was then too wide. I had to play with it to get them to work...Perhaps switch the gender so that the male connectors are on the main harness and the female connectors are in the EAS harness? this would prevent crushing, and loss of connection. Second, you should make the switch harness and the starter kit available separately. Having to buy a whole bundle with starter kit harness just to get be able to use switch 3 & 4 is a little much. Its wasteful.
