Doesn’t fit 2012 lml ltz. Waste of money and time look elsewhere

Not quite right for the 2008 2500 HD

I bought this with my new Evolution CTS2 for my 2008 Chevy 2500 HD. While the pod itself nicely follows the conture of the dashboard, when the programmer is installed the bottom right corner hits the dashboard and lifts the pod about 1/8” or more off the dash. I tried to get a picture but was unable to get this detail. It also rotates the display slightly counterclockwise a bit.I am contimplating returning it and try the pillar mount. All that being said, it does hold the Evolution CTS2 quite snuggly.

Expensive, poorly designed for the CTS2

I bought this quite some time ago. Tried to install it the first time and realized it was not going to mount properly and ditched the idea. I think for the price it seems the CTS2 was an after thought and didnt put much thought into it. The corner hits the pillar on one side, and the opposite corner hits the dash on the other. Even with rotating the bracket it will only fit one way. This causes abrasion on the pillar as the devide is constantly rubbing on it... I dont know how long i will be keeping this.. almost prefer the suction mount. since it hits in both corners its nearly impossible to keep the unit mounted flushly to the dash because the unit is constantly being pushed upwards... not very happy with the installation...

Although the item does clean up the look of the cts2, it has a few problems. The actual mount is too short and when mounted still allows the monitor to contact the right side of the dash causing the monitor to tilt counter clockwise a bit. Also the supplied Velcro pieces do not attach to the dash, even after a thorough cleaning. It’s better than the suction cup but edge could have put just a little more thought into it..
