Ram Pillar Pod

By 707lineman on September 23, 2017

I bought this for a 2015 Ram Hemi. Fits just like it does on the 2500HD. Thanks!

Love it

By Aaron k on June 29, 2020

Worked as advertised. Would recommend to a friend.

It works but you may need to adjust

By 2013 Limited on March 2, 2020

Fits but not very well. For the price I would have expected a better fit. it is very tight by the handle. But by the window I had to add double sided tape to hold it in because it flared out so much that you could see it from the outside looking in. Also I ordered this for the MM3 tuner and the adapter dose not fit. I had to build my own to make it work.

Easy Install

Great factory appearance with Pilar mount

By Chris H on November 30, 2019

I bought this a month ago and I am very glad I did, read lots of comments about suction cup unsticking, angle of Bolt in Pilar only issue.

Good

By Chris C on July 6, 2020

Used this on a 2015, minor trimming to fit perfectly. The quality isn't bad but its not the same pattern plastic as the handle assist used in the newer rams.

Beats the suction cup!

By Cody K on August 16, 2020

Perfect fit, decent color match. Puts the CTS in a better viewing position. Keeps the device out of the sun which in Vegas we get a lot of it!

Not worth it..

By Daniel213 on November 11, 2020

Doesn’t really conform to the Pilar. Looks kinda ugly. Considering using the suction cup provided with the CTS3 or searching for a whole new Pilar.

Piller. Perfect

By GreginFl on June 9, 2020

Wished I did this sooner. It fits my CS2 and fits the 1500 piller perfect.

By FRANK G on June 1, 2020

Good product

By Clutch on December 6, 2017

Bought the pillar mound about three weeks ago really like the placement of the display. It’s lower than what i have had in the past.ghe only bad is I had to trim the plastic where it goes next to the front window for it to sit flush against the pillar.

Blends in with stock color

By GWCW on August 20, 2017

In the description it says it's for Ram 2500 and 3500, I bought it for my 2016 Ram 1500 echo diesel. Fit right in place and blends in like it was stock. Only complaint is that the directions need to be reworked and better photos need to be added.

Adapter trouble

By Randy66 on June 9, 2018

Everything went together and looks great! The only thing is I can't plug in the 2 connectors because the holes in the cts 2 adapter is too small. Any advice would be great.

Pillar pod

By Jared B on January 7, 2020

Poorly made, first slide in between the dash and trim, pops out constantly. Once tightened in blade there is a gap between stock molding/trim and the pod. Using the suction cup window mount instead

Pillar mount

By Jarrod on June 15, 2018

I bought this just to not have the edge cts2 there on the dash. The suction cup does no good in the heat. If your wanting a clean look like and care for your vehicle spend the extra money and do it right.

Fitment issues

By Kelly on July 24, 2021

Does not fit as good as you would think .had to notch out bottom right corner for cord to plug in monitor for 100.00 dollars it needs a lot of rethinking on the molding process not hardly worth 100.00 dollars

Pillar Pod Review

By Kevin H on June 9, 2020

Nice product and looks better than using the suction cup mount. The color is close enough that it did not need to be painted.

Looks great

By Cummins mafia on August 12, 2019

Looks awesome. Easy install. Perfect touch to any diesel with a cts2 monitor

Color match is perfect.

By Tea kettle on September 6, 2019

Puts monitor in great position and color match was perfect

By Jim G on January 24, 2020

GREAT NEW LOOK

By mattap on October 26, 2020

GREAT FITMENT - Gauge looks much cleaner mounted with this VS the ugly suction cup to the windshield. Simple install, ONE SCREW!

Pod mount

By Mike C on January 10, 2019

I encourage anyone that is about to install a edge monitor to go ahead an purchase the pillar pod!! Easy install, Looks sweet & matches perfect!!

By Mike K on March 23, 2021

better if had option of paint color

By Ram123 on September 3, 2017

To mount Gage instead of using Window. Looks nice.

Needs some work on making it fit

By B font on January 26, 2021

It needed a little fitting to make it work. Cut and grind in area against windshield

Works great

By Oldone on July 3, 2017

Very easy to install, looks like factory installation

Pillar mount.

By Outspun on April 8, 2020

Product worked out great and installed fairly easy. Looks awesome, and is a much better option than the suction cup. Looks better, and works great.

By patrickseeberger on August 7, 2020

Great product, be ready to trim/adjust.

By Robert B on October 16, 2020

I bought this to use on my 13 Ram 2500. Color match is spot on, but fitmint needs some minor trimming to fit snugly in place. There is a 1/8"-1/4" gap on the windshield side of the mount. Some minor trimming and it fits perfect. Also "test fit" this in my 13 Ram 1500 and it fits even though they don't list it for the 1500's. I find it to be a little pricey for the for the fitment issues, but overall a very good item.

Perfect fit

By BozemanRob on February 13, 2019

Easy install the hardest part is the getting the screw longed up on he handle other than that great product gives the truck that factory finish without the cheesy suction cup mount that calls off

Pillar Pod Toggle Switch Holder

By RAM Rob on March 13, 2019

Just hated the thought of carving up my 2011 RAM 1500 interior to mount my auxiliary light switches. I saw this product and knew the PILLAR POD would fill the task perfectly. Just love this re-purposed POD!

Gauge Pod

By Dodgeowner on January 16, 2021

Color match is good. A little disappointed with the fit and finish. There is a gap where the pod meets the pillar on the top that’s a little unsightly. I’ve tried adjusting but can’t get the gap to go away. The shape just doesn’t exactly match. Overall, much better than the suction cup.

Installed in no time great product good match

By R C 1049 on January 16, 2019

Everything went together with ease about the backup camera system everything hooked up perfect

good design that could use some updating

By Scott S on April 6, 2021

Good color match to interior and fit up. only issue i dont like is the fitup with cts3 adapter, its bumped out so far and you can see wire going to back of tuner. be nice if they had like a sleeve or boot to make it look clean.

Modified to use with raceme

By Troy73 on March 11, 2021

I used this for the raceme programmer and the design changed slightly but was still able to use it with minimal modification but not as flush as the old design.

Fits and looks O.E

By Tstump1975 on December 14, 2017

I purchased the pillar pod so that the CS2 looks more original and protected from the environment rather then being mounted on the windshield. The color matched perfectly. Thank You, Terry S

Nice but needs slight improvements

By WILLIAM G on January 8, 2019

The pillar pod is a nice alternative to suction mount. However, the fitment could be a lot tighter and better fitted. There is a quarter inch gap between the pillar and pillar pod on the windshield side. Also, the extended part that extends to the windshield is not level and even with the pillar. It has a slight rise to it as it extends from the pillar to the windshield (see picture). I think the product could be improved if the long part that extends to the windshield was much shorter and if the pod fit tighter against the pillar.

By Wayne S on July 9, 2020

Looks great

By northforkfarmer on July 18, 2019

I've had it a couple weeks. It fits great. Seems a little high, but since I don't have a mold, I can't make it.

Perfect fit and cleanest install

By 14Ram3500Raptorpuller on December 4, 2017

When adding the CTS2 to a Longhorn truck you don't want to skip something this in expensive, it keeps the cleanliness of interior and looks like it all belongs!

Perfect fitting pillow adapter

By Howard S on October 20, 2017

Installed on a 2017 ram Laramie longhorn with cattle tan interior. Perfect color match and fits like a glove. Putting the screw in was a challenge but it all worked out good
