The new Edge Revolver Performance Chip is designed for 95-03 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke diesels and can make up to 140 HP (Depending on Model Year) with up to 6 performance programs switchable on the fly using the included switch! Edge Part number 14008 is designed for build date 1998 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke with an Auto transmission. The Master PCM Code for the 14008 is VDH4. This Master PCM code supports the following PCM codes BXE, KEK, NWM, PBY, PRW, TMA,QLJ, VDH, and VDU.

Easier to install than I expected, performs great!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and so far so good. The high idle is a cool feature for warm ups. The 50, 75, and 100hp don't build boost like I expected or like my edge evo, but wooow the 140hp tune builds like crazy and pulls super hard, puts a smile on my face every time! Also something to keep In mind is the shift points. 1st and 2nd are great, 3rd stays in for a long time, then 4th to overdrive happens very quickly.

I bought the Edge Revolver for the features it offered. I run an Edge Evolution in my F150, and am more than pleased with it. That made the choice to get the Revolver easy. When I had trouble with the Revolver, I called customer service and after a short and pleasant conversation with them, they offered to send me another one and pay shipping to get the first one back to them. The replacement works flawlessly, and makes pulling my #12,000 5th wheel a breeze. The increase in unloaded fuel mileage is a bonus too.

Extremely hard shifts

Overall this is a great chip but on my 2002 f-250 auto. It has a very hard shift when the torque converter locks in 3rd gear (under light throttle) in settings 3-5. However, when I give a quite a bit of throttle it shifts smooth. I have also tried driving around in the 6th setting (140hp) and the 1st setting (stock) a all shifts are smooth, so I am puzzled on if this a problem is my torque converter or a tuning issue. The previous owner rebuilt the transmission but I am not sure what he fixed/replaced. If anyone knows what I should do to fix this problem let me know.

Installed on two trucks at same time 99 and 03 Ford diesel 7.3. Could not tell any HP or torque gains. Waste of time and effort on both. Look for something else for your power needs

Makes a big difference!

I purchased a few weeks ago. Installed myself. Easy install. Put it together. Truck started and ran fine no cel no failure to start either but the chip did not make a difference when I turned it from stock. I called Edge they said it sounded like I installed it correctly and maybe I received a faulty switch. They sent me a new switch and I installed it the same way I did the first time. I sanded down the connection a little more this time. Now it works. The chip added a lot of power. I’m not a fan of how my truck shifts from the chip (automatic). I’ll be looking into getting an upgraded valve body for tranny for smoother shifting. Great chip lots of power for the 7.3 easy install. I would recommend.

Was really easy to install .. the +140hp puts a smile on your face and Prius repellent in the air !!! So far I'm very satisfied with the revolver hoping that there are more options as for what tunes can be programmed on the chip.. like the TS Chips had
