Works perfect!!

Bought a 2007 Chevy Silverado a few years ago that had a replaced 4 speed transmission. Always found it quite rough on the shifting and not having the right power at the right time, hated the active fuel management, and speedo was out from bigger tires. This tuner took care of all of this it’s, it’s unreal the difference it made. Smooth shifting so much more power at the right time. Wasn’t sure if it would fix these things but it did, Well worth the investment!!

Bought the CS2 about a month ago. Not as noticeable performance results as there were on my diesel tuner also an Edge. Transmission tune seems to work well and slight improvement in gas mileage (2 mpg). Overall pleased with the unit.

Not as good as advertised

Feels a little more powerful but not much, sounds like a completely different truck though. But it wont read and clear codes, which for 500+ dollars it should.

I have used the bully dog and super chip tuners and the’re no where near as Great result performance as this edge cs2. I have a 2002 GMC 2500 HD That are used this cs2 tuner on and it feels like I have a shift kit in the transmission in the truck pulls a lot harder and feels like a smooth tune and it’s probably the easiest tuner I’ve used yet so far. Just follow the directions and you won’t have any problems.

I bought this product because my GM truck has the AFM system that damaged my engine. GM corporate office has not yet admitted that the product in there GM vehicles are causing damage to the engine (lifters knocking and bent Cam Shaft at 70 thousand miles). This edge product is awesome, not only because it allowed me to turn off the AFM system, but it also is providing me with better gas mileage. My truck is running amazingly. On high performance model, it is screamimg. I highly recommend this product. It is easy to install and pogram. Plus, I also purchased the dash holder. It looks like a customer dash holder. Thank you Edge company for producing such great product.

I would recommend this product to anybody that's looking for a little power and fuel mileage. I have a 2013 GMC 1500 5.3L truck with a 7 inch lift and 35 inch tires but still get 2 miles per gallon better on economy. i mainly got this to help with towing and I can tell a difference but the truck still isn't a diesel.

i was looking for a better tuner and came across this and immediatly purchased. after purchasing i was lookling at reviews and found some negative ones that made me rethink a little. once i received the unit i followed directions to set up and was very easy. once installed in vehicle i immediatly installed the extreme tune which was easy to do. while test driving after i installed tune i was in complete shock and awe. i was totally blown away by how well this tuner works. if your expecting to have your vehicle drive like nascar then look for a nascar, but for what it is designed for its awesome. i would highly recommend this product to anyone. i have had such a wonderful transaction and having the tuner work exactly as described, i cant thank edge enough. great job EDGE and keep up the awesome work. definitly should buy this.

I had researched and spoke with a few vendors for get my trucks computer in harmony with my cold air intake and upgraded exhaust. Edge Tech was extremely precise with getting right product for needs. Install was simple and the permormance in Jammer mode is super on all levels.

bought the evolution cs2 and it worked great for a year. truck went to dealership for reprogramming due to recalls and it kicked it back to stock. now there is no menu to select tunes on my device. tried updating it but screen was the same

I have a 2016 ford f150 2.7 ecoboost with the edge performance evolution cs2 gas tuner. I have since made more upgrades to my truck and was wondering if the tuner can be updated for additional modifications done?

MPG has gone from 16 mpg to 19 mpg.

Wouldn’t work with the vehicle

I had the product for 3 days and it began to shut the vehicle off. I called customer support and they were VERY HELPFUL, yet the product just didn’t work. I do NOT recommend this product for any gas applications.

Currently the product causes a check engine light when programmed with anything other then stock setting. Tech support has been contacted on 27 Aug and I’m waiting for a fix. Once a fix corrects the issue I’m rating the product with one star.

Nice sleek system interface is easy to use. The three custom tunes are great if your not planning on doing additional upgrades to your vehicle. My 2013 5.0 F150 gets great throttle response now, however Im looking to do a boss manifold, cold air intake, exhaust system which the Edge doesnt support. If you planning on doing extra upgrades to your vehicle you may want to look elsewhere for a more customizable tuner.

Bought this to help out with towing and to adjust fan. Installed and no fan adjustment for my 08 Silverado 5.3 So if there is a feature listed you like call and ask if it's truly available for your truck.

I've only used economy mode but it's been a major improvement so far. The difference in how it runs now and the shift points are amazing. I've driven across my state a few times since installed and I'm happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend to others.

I purchased my Edge evolution cs2 over the phone directly from edge. I was told it worked on my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 could not get it to update for my vehicle. Find it frustrating you can not get ahold of tech support besides Monday thru Friday from 8 to 5. Makes it extremely difficult with my work schedule to get anything resolved.

Updated the CS2 on my Windows computer (really easy), Went outside and plugged it in my Ram 1500 5.7 hemi 2014, Answered some questions, selected the Tune I wanted to use, Customized it to shut of MDS(fuel Managment system) and sat back and watched. Took it for a drive and WOW, Very nice. Miliage increase and with MDS off I have all 8 cyl working for me all the time, no lag.

Messed up my computer

This unit did not have an economy mode for my model of truck (2008 F150) even though the representative on the phone said it would. It also triggered my wrench light which means it would not work with my CAI even though the rep (again) said it would. I will never shop Edge again. My computer would not go back to stock and was stuck in an after market program. I had to pay to re-flash my computer after these products fried it.

Woke my truck up and get awesome mileage

First off, I will say if you're looking for a high horsepower tuner to run down the drag strip, look somewhere other than this tuner. My truck is a 2014 F150 supercrew 4x4 with the 5.0L, and the truck is leveled and rolling on 305/55/20's. No cai, headers, exhaust out any other performance parts, yet. With the truck stock I was getting asteroid 16-17mpg and after the level and wheels and tires I took quite the hit and dropped to 13.2 on my best days. With this programmer on the "race" tune abs rubbing 91 octane I'm getting between 19 and 21mpg driving conservatively. The issue I had was the tuner wouldn't communicate with my ECM, and would lock up every time I would try to put a program on my truck. Edge sent me a new tuner over night and I had the same issue with it. After speaking with their engineering department we were able to get the correct update downloaded to the tuner and now it works flawlessly. I'm definitely pleased with the tuner, as I wasn't looking for major performance gains, just economy gains, and ever more pleased with Edge's tech support and customer service. I highly recommend this product and hope everybody enjoys it as much as I do.

I bought almost 2montha ago. Only 3stars because when on economy mode the afm comes on even with it turned off. The engine code reader is awsome. My truck is highmileag and paid for. So too finally be able to turn the afm off and have a code reader at all times is awsome. No more shutting off at 98mph.. Transmission shifts way better. Woke the old 5.3 well. No real hp noticed but just the driveability is worth it to me..

My leves are stock, towing, street, and performance. I called and asked where is the economy level? That’s why I bought it. Where do I add it On the programer? the person did not know, and said to try them all the levels and see where I save more mpg. Worthless. Also my truck gave big jerks when accelerating, that will mess up my engine and transmission. Do not buy.

I bought this a few months ago and I absolutely love it! If anyone isn’t sure or debating you should just get it! You won’t regret it. It really woke my truck up and shifts exactly like I want It to without having the cost of an actual tune. I love the performance and towing mode! I even had a small issue, but their customer service is AWESOME and resolved it right away! The gas mileage gain is great also.

Bought this to correct for larger tires and to add some torque to my truck for light towing. Hooked it up and it downloads profiles, but none of the profiles work on my truck. It starts but it's like the gas pedal is disconnected. Flooring it does nothing, truck is still at idle. Get the CTS instead. I know those work well.

I bought this about a month ago to turn off the AFM. It does that for sure, but I was also expecting an increase in fuel mileage which I haven’t seen. To be fair, I have not been driving on the highway as much as I was prior to buying this. I didn’t notice power gains. It did change the way it shifts, it’s quite a bit harder than it was. Maybe once I add the cold air intake and change the tune to the Jammer tune I will be more impressed. Overall I’m happy to turn off the fuel management as Ive heard it can cause some problems down the road.

Really woke my truck up

I used to drive in 4th gear with 6 speed automatic to get enough power in hilly and crooked roads. Now I have enough power and better shift points I can drive in overdrive now and still have power in the corners. I love it. Also it allowed me to eliminate the fuel cut back to 4 cylinders.

I recently bought this and installed it a week ago. I put aftermarket exhaust on my truck and by deactivating the active fuel management the exhaust sounds good all the time and doesn't resonate and sound annoying like it used to when it drops from 8 to 4... It woke it up too! I could tell immediately that the throttle was more responsive. Very happy with the product.

Like the programmer, always been an edge fan, performs as expected and happy. Only thing I don't like is the new tire size setup, used a tape measure but speedo was off, I prefer the old way when you converted your tire size to mm it was way more accurate.
