Insight cs2

I love my insight cs2, overall it is great. The only problem I’ve noticed with it is that the speedometer is not correct. I’ve entered my tire size and instead of it being higher than my factory speedo is it lower,which it should be higher due to my 33in. tires.

had to download updates on a new unit.

I bought this for my 2000 f350 7.3, I'm very glad I did as it helped me diagnose my icp issue that no one else has been able to figure out...no codes so i have not used that feature but found that I would intermittently loose my icp... would not have figured it without buying this. I like being able to see my parameters and it was very easy to install! No gauges can do what this thing can! I do like the customizable screens and the fact that it'll only give you the pids to choose from that are available for the truck

I just bought a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 and it had an Edge tuner so I thought I would get a display screen to see the full effect of the Edge products. Unfortunately, the suction cup holder does not work well. After cleaning the windshield and applying the cup it held just fine. At least for a couple of weeks....UGH! Anyway I now have a piece of packing stryo foam which I rigged it in place holding it. Even with that the new screen looks really cool. E.Guzman

Bout for my F250 2005 with the 6.0 diesel. This unit has helped me with a comfort leave pulling my 27ft 5th wheel. Great unit. Only drawback is the cost. Hard on a retired mans budget. Would recommend it to anyone.

I bought the CS2 about a year ago. I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging. The product arrived in perfect condition. The instructions for set up were very easy to follow. I installed the unit the same day I got it and have had zero issues since.

I purchased the Insight to monitor the engine. Customer service was very helpful. I didn't have to wait long to get a rep when I called and he was able to answer all my questions and fix the one little issue I was having. It has is working great and I am able to monitor all the areas of concern. It's very accurate. It is easy to read and very functional. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a very reliable product.

We were having some issues with our 2013 Chevy duramax and we installed the Insight CS2 and were able to get out of limp mode while hauling a trailer. We would have been stranded without it.

I love it. I have a 2017 6.7l F-350 and the CS2 is a great way for me to keep my eye on EGT's and DPF load %. I love how there's an indicator to let you know when the truck goes into regen mode.

Bought the Insight CS2 to monitor different gauges once I can scramble up the cash for EFI live but I have it tuned with H&S Mini Maxx cause that display for some reason will not dim down at night

got this about 3 months ago and i absolutely love it i can watch my egt's boost presser and exhaust presser all at the same time but there are many more options you can choose to monitor and the code reader works great as well

Way cheaper than buying a three pod pillar also with more features!! My only problem with the whole package was the lack of oil pressure and oil temperature for my Cummins application. I don’t have the option on mine factory because mine is a 12 and under so I was kind of looking forward to having that option. Maybe this will change with future updates.

Purchased about a month ago. I wanted to monitor engine temps, pressures, etc. to establish baseline data for service intervals and future tuning on my diesel truck.Up to date data parameter out of the box and updatable as needed. I performs exactly as I hoped it would.

i bought this a few months ago, this thing is awesome not only does it monitor everything your vehicle sees so you can see. it also allows you to program your scheduled maintenance so you never forget when you rotated tires or changed your oil just to name a few

I do like the ability to pick the different screen presentations of the chosen engine parameters. The future expansion is also a great feature. In retrospect I would have gone with the larger screen model.

I purchased a CS2 for our MB 3.0L Winnebago motor home after having great success with a CTS2 on my 2015 Ford F350 6.7L. The support staff helped me through installation and other issues by suggesting the EAS accessories and now I can monitor EGT, Boost and Trans Temp. These devices are worth every penny to anyone wanting quality gauge and information with the backing of knowledgeable people.

I have had the CS2 for a few months now and love it! It gives me all the readings mybtruck dashboard doesn’t! Very compact so it’s not a big eyesore on the windshield. Would definately recommend this for anyone who wants to monitor almost anything you can think of to be on the safe side of towing or off roading.

Allows manual regen, and can reset CEL codes upon start or on a per case basis. Fairly customizable, though would give 5 stars if it monitored ALL parameters as it does not tell you engine oil pressure or oil temp, and I need a computer to update to see my soot level, but I don't have a computer. Definitely worth the price if anything just for the option to do a manual regen as for some dumb reason GM only allows this on 'work trucks' or fleet vehicles and not on privately owned and much more expensive trucks. So that, to me, makes it worth buying. Cleaning out a DPF (or worse, replacing one) is extremely costly. At some point I'll get the touch-screen CTS2, but this is fine for right now, I paid enough for the truck.

Diesels are expensive and complicated. A monitoring system like the edge insight allows you to set temperature alerts, diagnose issues, data log and more. Trust me, whether your towing a heavy 5th wheel (like me) or trying some tunes you want an insight to keep your truck running at its peak safely!

It works great! Injector balance rates checked. Backup oil trans and coolant readings is awesome. I need to figure out how to monitor exhaust gas temps.

Got my CS2 A while back. Didn't have the change to get the cts2. But still worth more than my 07 Cummins 6.7 to me. The previous owner of my peice put the edge EGT probe in (did it right somehow) and this CS2 paired up and detected everything. A little tinkering with the settings and I have custom colors on my overheating truck. Besides my frustrations with the truck the CS2 was a very useful tool is monitoring EGTs and other statitstcs while diagnosing my headache, it even records a set amount of data you can export to excel! Like yes! Thank you! Now it's time to have the shop do head gasket #2 in less than 2k miles.

I purchased this to help monitor my truck on a long trip, pulling a bigger 5th wheel. I encountered a few problems getting the gauges to display info, but customer service helped to correct this. Shortly after, it failed to power up randomly, over the course the next few weeks. That has now stopped. I live the unit, but based on these issues I just don't trust it 100%. I will keep it and continue to use it but it has definitely underwhelmed.

not nearly as exciting as i though it would be for the price: 1) does not list my vehicle 2) VERY CLICHY -freezes frames alot & needs rebooted 3) hdmi does not clip or lock and may come loose after short wear 4) does not display simple things that were promised like voltage , Boost, oil temp. ect.. 5) features like MPH and RPM are waste i was hoping for permanent install item into my headliner area to use as race gauges info but does not seem to handle that well. SO I WILL LOOK FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

I've been using my CS2 for two weeks now and love it. I wanted this mainly to monitor boost and egt's and it works great. But that being said the ability to see so many other pid's and read diagnostic codes is great also! My only complaint isn't about the CS2 but about the dash pod it is a pain in the rear to install. But overall I am very satisfied! (Egt probe is sold separately)
