Disappointed

Purchased a month ago and install was easy. Screen is supposed is supposed to change automatically from back up to gauges when truck is shifted from reverse to forward, but only works 1 out of 5 times, 20% of the time it just continues showing back up camera when shifted into gear. Also the set screws to adjust the view of the camera are such a small millimeter, that they instantly get stripped out when trying to adjust. Spent the extra money to purchase this, when I could have purchased a camera for 20 bucks in order to avoid any issues, not happy.

Doesn't always work and may show a totally different hitch..second one purchased and neither work or can be returned

The one down side with the recommended installation is that the camera is powered when the key is in the run position. I will end up putting in an on/off switch.

Too expensive for the compatibility/reliability.

Auto on in reverse doesn’t work with older transmissions and camera does not turn on every time when swiping. Poor picture quality too. However, set up was a breeze.

I have sent it back to Edge three times in the last year. Very disappointing to pay this amount expecting a reliable product and it has been a painful experience.

Have had this on my 97 F250 with the CTS2 for many months now, and it is awesome!!!! I wish I could give it 5 stars but as many others have stated sometimes it doesn't switch to gauges and stays on, or it won't turn on when I put the truck in reverse. I'd say one of those two issues happens maybe 5% of the time, so that means 95% of the time it works the exact way it should, and I can get so close to walls or other parked vehicles that it saves all the guess work. Not honestly sure why people expect this to be crystal clear like newer cars with back up cameras, but I personally don't think it matters, you can still see everything perfectly fine and its not like you're trying to read a book with it! One final reason I could not give it 5 stars is the fact that the bolts to hold it on rust very fast, I live in San Diego, so very little rain and they are still rusting. I have recommended this to many people and will continue to do so, for the price, quality, ease of installation, and the added safety for backing up I highly recommend it!

I bought this backup camera about 6 weeks ago. The backup camera is coupled with the CTS2 monitor. The clarity of the picture on the monitor is adequate at best. I was hoping the clarity would be as good as the newer vehicles backup cameras.
