Congratulations to Edge-sponsored 3.0 pulling truck "The Hybrid", driven by Tom Hansen, on his first-place finish at his debut event, the NHRDA event Diesel on the Mountain. Tom couldn't have been happier with winning by 26 feet!. "The truck had some major changes over the winter and we finished it up Thursday night the day before we left for Colorado," Tom said, "There were some bugs that we need to work out, but all and all I'm going to enjoy this win and get ready for the Edge Series."

Tom left Colorado Friday night and headed straight to Logan, UT for the Edge pulling Series event. The truck took off strong out of the gate Saturday, but sputtered a little going down the track, and then the radiator mounted inside the cab exploded and sprayed 240-degree water all over so Tom had to shut it down. He mentioned, "The water was a little hot and didn't want to hurt the truck, so I made the quick decision to shut it down." New parts are already here and the truck is being fixed to get ready for the next pull.
